Sanctuary Cove awarded best Australian ‘Masterplanned Development’

In 2018, Sanctuary Cove was awarded best Australian ‘Masterplanned Development’ at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) National Awards following a recent state win for Queensland.

The judging criteria focused on aspects including innovation, sustainability and integration.
Mulpha construction and property manager Mathew Williams said the estate’s resort-style living and world-class offerings together with its ability to evolve with the market were what set it apart from competing masterplanned estates.
“Sanctuary Cove is not only a premier residential community, it is a way of life. It offers the perfect blend of leisure, living and lifestyle for its residents, hotel guests, tenants and berth holders.
“Sanctuary Cove boasts two 18-hole championship golf courses, a 226-berth marina, vibrant shopping and dining precincts, the five-star InterContinental Resort, Country Club facilities, diverse land releases, unrivalled infrastructure and 24-hour land and water security all in one central waterfront location,” Greg Shaw said.

“Launched to the market 30 years ago, the resort has constantly evolved by offering products that meet current buyer demand and deliver on residents’ ever changing lifestyle expectations.
“30 years in anyone’s book is a significant achievement, and with further development and investment still to come we can look forward to the continued growth of Sanctuary Cove.”

More than $50 million has been injected into development works at the resort-style estate over the past two years, as astute purchasers have rushed to secure their place in the exclusive golf and marina community.
