Mulpha is an established owner and manager of property, hotel and leisure assets with a proven track record of delivering above market returns and valuation of these assets. Our services extend well beyond a traditional asset manager through application of highly specialized operational management expertise.
The Mulpha team comprises executives that have established a track record in operating international hotels and listed leisure companies. Through “hands-on” involvement we have consistently been able to work with property executives to find new incremental opportunities to drive profit.
Mulpha Hospitality Group is the operational sector of the business that specialises in all facets of dining and entertainment, providing varied and unique venues and exceptional service.
InterContinental Sydney
Purchased by Mulpha in 2004, InterContinental Sydney is an iconic CBD hotel with sweeping views of the Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
Mulpha recently undertook a $120 million refurbishment of the hotel, including an internal upgrade of all 500+ guest rooms and corridors, refurbishment of the ground level including the Macquarie Street entry, reception and the inclusion of a new iconic public bar, The Treasury within the heritage central court. The project also included a full refurbishment of the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, level 31 gym and pool and another new bar, The Aster located within Level 32 of the hotel which has never before been open to the public.
In addition, Mulpha restored the 1851 heritage façade, upgrading the iconic entrance on Phillip Street.
InterContinental Hayman Island Resort
Located on the northern tip of the Whitsunday Islands, Hayman Island is Australia’s most prestigious private island. Following Cyclone Debbie in 2017, Mulpha invested $135 million into the rebuild of the idyllic island, reopening in July 2019 and rebranded
To the ultra-luxurious InterContinental Hayman Island Resort.

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort
InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is IHG’s first Australian InterContinental Resort and Queensland’s first InterContinental Hotel. Located on the northern end of the Gold Coast, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort is tucked away within the beautiful surrounds of Sanctuary Cove.

Acquired by Mulpha in 2018, the hotel comprises a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom fully self-contained apartments and is situated on a prime parcel of land, which is subject to a long-term ground lease to one of Auckland’s largest inner-city landowners.

The Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg was designed with French flair in an 18th century mansion. This 147 rooms 5 star hotel is set in two private mansions dating from the 18th and 19th century. As Sofitel’s flagship hotel, the hotel has been recently redesigned with the elegant Blossom restaurant offering a chic and natural table overseen by head chef Alexandre Auger and pastry chef Shereen Khelif. The new 1,076 square foot penthouse suite was designed as an homage to haute couture with stunning views over Paris. The hotel is situated close to the Place de la Concorde and the Champs-Elysées making the Sofitel Paris le Faubourg an ideal place to fully enjoy your stay in the French capital.
