As CEO of Mulpha, Greg has had over 25 years’ experience as CEO of listed leisure and hospitality businesses in Australia. Former CEO of Ardent Leisure, one of Australia’s most successful leisure and hospitality owners. During his 13-year tenure as CEO, Ardent grew from a $70 million enterprise to a $1.2 billion business and delivered annualised returns of over 15% to investors. Greg has extensive experience across many leisure sectors including Golf Clubs, Theme Parks, Health Clubs, Marinas, Bowling, Entertainment and Restaurant portfolios. Greg is a qualified chartered accountant.
Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in the property industry with leadership roles across investment and development portfolios in debt and equity investing. Now Head of Real Estate Capital for Mulpha Australia Limited, Andrew has been actively sourcing new real estate and business opportunities across residential and commercial sectors including direct investments, joint venture interests, and overseeing the growth of Mulpha’s asset management platform. Andrew is a director of Pindari Capital, a boutique funds management business focussed in the Significant Investor Visa segment and an Investment Committee member of Multiple Capital Investment Partners Global Real Estate Debt Fund. Andrew held prior roles at FKP Property Group and worked across the full spectrum of real estate on retail, commercial and industrial assets and projects. Andrew also held roles at BT Funds Management and Arthur Andersen. Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Responsible Managet under Mulpha’s AFSL and is a licenced real estate agent (NSW).
Tim leads the Mulpha Development teams that have been delivering projects for over 25 years. With its skill base in world leading, master planned communities such as Norwest Business Park, Sanctuary Cove Resort and Leisure Farm Resort, Mulpha Development’s expertise in commercial, residential, retail, recreational and infrastructure developments is exemplary. Tim’s 20 years of property experience was founded in tier 1 construction and development delivery, extending into visionary urban planning. Tim has worked for both private and public enterprises delivering the full spectrum of property from residential, commercial, industrial, retail, infrastructure and retirement.
Starting at Mulpha in 2016, Marcus has over 25 years’ of experience in the hospitality and leisure industry, working in various roles as a Hotel Management Company Owner and Director, Group Operations Manager, General Manager and Consultant. He was previously CEO of d’Albora Marinas, a division of the ASX listed Ardent Leisure. Marcus has worked with a diverse range of Hotel and Resort Assets across Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Joshua has over 20 years of experience across investment banking, corporate advisory and private equity. Prior to joining Mulpha in February 2021, Joshua was a Principal at Monash Private Capital for over 8 years where he was involved in a wide range of deals from family-owned businesses through to publicly listed and multinational corporations, spanning start-up ventures through to complex corporate restructuring transactions.
Joshua began his career at Deutsche Bank (Auckland and Sydney), followed by 9 years at Investec Bank (Sydney, Johannesburg and London). He has undertaken transactions across a number of industries, with a particular strength in general industrial and consumer discretionary sectors.
Joshua has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance (1st Class Honours in Finance) from the University of Auckland.
Sue’s experience in education spans over 28 years of working across ELICOS, Vocational Education and the Higher Education sectors. In the last 20 years Sue has held leadership roles in academia, sales and marketing, business development and operations. Through her early experience establishing new education centres, Sue developed insight into all facets of an education business. Her career led her into leadership roles with global education providers managing large scale programs and functions. Sue is responsible for ensuring quality delivery, positive outcomes and growth for the Mulpha Education Group.
Say Kien has more than 20 years of working experience and has held various finance leadership roles in Malaysian public listed companies. She started her career in audit with one of the Big Four accounting firms in 1992 to 1995. She then joined Magnum Corporation Berhad, a Malaysian public listed company from November 1995 to November 2008 as Assistant Manager, Treasury where she managed all aspects of treasury and financial management for Magnum Group. In December 2008, she joined Mulpha International Bhd and she currently holds the position as Group General Manager, Finance where her main roles include financial and management reporting, treasury operations, taxation, audit and reporting compliance. Say Kien holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business, Scotland and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of New South Wales, Australia. She is a fellow member of the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Ros has over 20 years’ experience in corporate human resources and talent strategy. She spent much of her career as a Global HR Director in Media and Advertising working on diverse projects focused on organisational growth, acquisitions and mergers. Recently, Ros ran her own HR Consultancy working across sports administration, property development and facilities management, hospitability and human services. Ros has a firm understanding of Australian employment law and international employment practices, having played a key role in working with a variety of CEOs, leadership teams and Boards developing people, culture and development strategies across a range of industries, organisations and cultures, focusing on leadership development, workforce planning, diversity, talent acquisition, organisational development, succession planning, workplace and industrial relations, workplace health and safety and wellness.
