Greg Shaw
Chief Executive Officer, Mulpha

As CEO of Mulpha, Greg has had over 25 years’ experience as CEO of listed leisure and hospitality businesses in Australia. Former CEO of Ardent Leisure, one of Australia’s most successful leisure and hospitality owners. During his 13-year tenure as CEO, Ardent grew from a $70 million enterprise to a $1.2 billion business and delivered annualised returns of over 15% to investors. Greg has extensive experience across many leisure sectors including Golf Clubs, Theme Parks, Health Clubs, Marinas, Bowling, Entertainment and Restaurant portfolios. Greg is a qualified chartered accountant.

Say Kien Lim
Group General Manager, Finance

Say Kien has more than 20 years of working experience and has held various finance leadership roles in Malaysian public listed companies. She started her career in audit with one of the Big Four accounting firms in 1992 to 1995. She then joined Magnum Corporation Berhad, a Malaysian public listed company from November 1995 to November 2008 as Assistant Manager, Treasury where she managed all aspects of treasury and financial management for Magnum Group. In December 2008, she joined Mulpha International Bhd and she currently holds the position as Group General Manager, Finance where her main roles include financial and management reporting, treasury operations, taxation, audit and reporting compliance.

Say Kien holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business, Scotland and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of New South Wales, Australia. She is a fellow member of the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Andrew Hall
Head of Real Estate Capital

Andrew has more than 20 years experience in the listed and unlisted property sectors including leadership roles in funds management across office, retail, industrial, retirement and residential sectors.

Now known as Aveo, Andrew was responsible for FKP Funds Management which included the FKP Property Trust and the unlisted FKP Core Plus Funds, with total assets of approximately $800 Million.

Now Head of Real Estate Capital for Mulpha Australia Limited, Andrew has been actively sourcing new real estate and business opportunities for Mulpha Australia Limited including debt, equity and joint venture interests. Andrew is also a founding Director of Multiple Capital, which is a debt funds management platform formed in 2017.

Andrew has a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Responsible Manager under Mulpha Funds Management AFSL and is a licenced real estate agent (NSW).

Tim Spencer
Executive General Manager, Developments

Tim leads the Mulpha Development teams that have been delivering projects for over 25 years. With its skill base in world leading, master planned communities such as Norwest Business Park, Sanctuary Cove Resort and Leisure Farm Resort, Mulpha Development’s expertise in commercial, residential, retail, recreational and infrastructure developments is exemplary. Tim’s 20 years of property experience was founded in tier 1 construction and development delivery, extending into visionary urban planning. Tim has worked for both private and public enterprises delivering the full spectrum of property from residential, commercial, industrial, retail, infrastructure and retirement.

Hartmut Fink
Executive General Manager, Hotel Assets

Hartmut has worked in hotel real estate asset management for institutional and private money since 2009. He formerly managed a hotel portfolio for Eureka Funds Management valued at over $800 million. Prior to Eureka, Hartmut enjoyed working across a variety of operational and corporate roles in London, Paris, Geneva and Australia, working with hotel operators such as Accor Hotels Group, InterContinental Hotels Group, Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts and Millennium and Copthorne Hotels.

Ros Reeves
Executive General Manager, Human Resources

Ros joined Mulpha in June 2019 with over 20 years’ experience in corporate human resources and talent strategy, and recognises the benefits of HR partnering with operating executives when considering and planning strategic people and cultural initiatives to support business plans. She has spent a significant portion of her career as a Global HR Director in Media and Advertising having worked on diverse projects focused on organisational growth, acquisitions and mergers. In recent years Ros has been running her own HR Consultancy working with a range of key clients within Sports Administration, Property Development and Facilities Management, Hospitability and Human Services – Aged Care & Community Services to name just a few.

Ros possess a firm understanding of Australian employment law and international employment practices, having played a key role in working with a variety of CEOs, leadership teams and Boards developing people, culture and development strategies across a range of industries, organisations and cultures, focusing on leadership development, workforce planning, diversity, talent acquisition, organisational development, succession planning, workplace and industrial relations, workplace health, safety and wellness; having lead and influenced diverse programs in corporate leadership roles and consulting projects.

 

Keith Allardice
Executive General Manager, International Operations

Keith is responsible for operations of Mulpha’s international developments in Australia and Malaysia, including the master planned residential and commercial communities at Sanctuary Cove Resort and Leisure Farm Resort. With 30 years of international management experience in operations, administration and marketing, Keith has lived and worked in the United States, China, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Japan and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Mulpha in 2012, Keith was with Conrad Hotels & Resorts from 1993 and was General Manager of the group’s five-star properties in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Keith also held senior marketing positions with Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt International.

Sue Bakir
General Manager, Education

Sue’s experience in education spans over 28 years of working across ELICOS, Vocational Education and the Higher Education sectors. In the last 20 years Sue has held leadership roles in academia, sales and marketing, business development and operations. Through her early experience establishing new education centres, Sue developed insight into all facets of an education business. Her career led her into leadership roles with global education providers managing large scale programs and functions.

Sue is responsible for ensuring quality delivery, positive outcomes and growth for the Mulpha Education Group.

Chris Lopez
Head of Corporate Investment and Private Equity

As Head of Corporate Investment and Private Equity, Christopher actively sources and manages equity, debt and hybrid investments for Mulpha Australia Limited.

Christopher has over 15 years of domestic and international experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestments, corporate tax, restructuring and private equity where he worked for numerous Tier 1 companies, advising and executing transactions within the oil and gas, marine services, industrial, consumer, real estate, agribusiness, telecommunication and technology sectors.  He has extensive Board experience across a number of companies as a Director, Non-Executive Director and Observer.

Christopher completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Finance degrees, is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment. He is also a practicing Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia.
